Read MoreI recently checked an item off my bucket list by attending the Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders Meeting in Omaha, Nebraska (I'll cover the meeting in a different post). This was my first visit to Omaha. I rented a house on Airbnb (another first) and my Airbnb host suggested that my first stop in Omaha be the Old District. Her suggestion was an excellent one as I was enthralled by all of the old brick buildings, cobblestone streets, and horse and carriages. Like many old areas in major cities the Old District in Omaha is now home to upscale restaurants, shops, and lofts. Here are some pictures of the Old District.
